This Defence Standard specifies requirements for an air drying, near matt fishing paint. The paint is suitable for both interior and exterior use and may be used with an appropriate priming paint and undercoat on prepared andor pre-treated ferrous and non fmus substrates. The paint finish is suitable for use on MOD vehicles and equipment where that coating is not required to be VOC compliant andor Chemical Agent Resistant as defined in STANAG 4360. Where these requirements are to be complied with, then the paint scheme Def Stan 80-208 shali be specified.

Paint matching NATO Green, Colour No 285 of BS 381C is only available as a finish complying with the colour and Infia Red Reflectance (IRR) camouflage requirements deked in Def Stan 00-23.
