Lessons Learned – Analysis of Radiated EMI From ESD Events Caused by Space Charging

active, Most Current
Organization: NASA
Publication Date: 17 April 2000
Status: active
Page Count: 7
scope:

Practice:

Modeling is utilized for the analysis of conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) caused by an electrostatic discharge (ESD) event. The modeling requires the combined use of a SPICE (Ref. 1), or other circuit analysis code and a wire antenna code based on the method of moments, and is primarily applicable to wires, cables, and connectors.
