FOREWORD

The purpose of this publication is to provide safety information on how to vapor-free and dean, prior to repair, any motor vehicle cargo tank used m the transportation of flammable liquids. Attention is called to the measures which should be taken: 1, to protect personnel against harmful vapor concentrations; and, 2, to avoid the ignition of flammable vapors which may be present during certain phases of motor vehicle cargo tank cleaning operations.
