This Defence Standard specifies the standard range of externally fitted rearview mirror assemblies for use on all vehicles with the exception of saloon cars, utility cars and light van used by the Ministry of Defence, and for the maintenance of current vehicles. It also provides guidance on the class of mirror to be fitted to commercial vehicles in accordance with UK and EEC legislation.
