This 1979 report presents the flow stress data for some commonly forged alloys at various strains, strain-rates, and temperatures in a ready-to-use-form. The data has been simplified from a previously published report on the same subject. A table has been presented of other alloys where this data may be usable. Also presented here is the critical evaluation of techniques used in generating this information and their compatibility with practical forging operations.
