Purpose of This Notice.

This notice provides revised guidance for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate-holding district offices (CHDO), International Field Offices (IFO), and principal inspectors (PI) assigned to owners, operators, and agencies conducting aircraft operations under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) parts 91 subpart K (part 91K), 121, 121/135, 125, 125M, 129, 133, 135, 137, and 142. This notice amends and standardizes all A447, Emergency Airworthiness Directive Notification, templates for owners/operators/agencies conducting aircraft operations under parts 121, 121/135, 125, 125M, and 129 (both the part 129 and the part 129, ยง 129.14 set of the Web-based Operations Safety System (WebOPSS) templates). Templates for parts 91K, 133, 135, 137, and 142 will be decommissioned. This is a mandatory change to operations specification (OpSpec)/management specification (MSpec)/training specification (TSpec)/letter of authorization (LOA) A447.
