scope:
This Standard specifies pipe fittings (hereafter referred to as "fittings") for jointing crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) pipes with a working pressure of 0.75 MPa or lower (hereafter referred to as "pipes") specified in JIS K 6787, to be mainly used for indoor piping of water works. Crosslinked polyethylene pipe fittings are covered by JIS K 6770.
