This instruction is supplementary to references (a) through (m). Detailed procedural information on daily operations will be available in role-based desk guides located online at https://navsup.navy.mil/ccpmd under the Policies tab. This instruction and all supplementary components (e.g., desk guides, policy/administrative notices and local supplements) are critical to assure that a system of internal controls is established and followed to minimize the potential for fraud, misuse and delinquency.

Purpose.

To establish the Department of the Navy (DON) policies and procedures for the operation and management of the AIR Card Program as delineated in enclosure (1) that meet financial accounting/accountability requirements as well as operational/oversight requirements in references (a) through (m).
