Purpose of This Notice.

This notice requires principal or assigned inspectors to validate vital information for Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 119 certificate holders (all air carrier and operating certificate holders conducting operations in accordance with 14 CFR parts 121, 125, and 135) and fractional ownerships in order to make the Pilot Records Database (PRD) available for use in December 2016/January 2017. Additionally, this notice provides information on eligibility requirements for individuals to access the PRD, records provided through the PRD, and continued inspections to fulfill the Pilot Records Improvement Act of 1996 (PRIA). Eligible individuals may request access to the PRD by registering at http://prd.faa.gov/.
