This specification relates to precision variable wirewound resistors of 100 ohms nominal resistance and above, with selection tolerance of ± 5 % and maximum law error of 0·5 % or 1 % of the total resistance, where the electrical output (in terms of per cent of applied voltage) is liner or non-liner with respect to the angular position of the operating shaft. This specification includes liner and non-liner, single-turn and multi-turn, single section and multi-section (ganged) variable resistors.

Resistance Law and Accuracy.

Effective Angle of Rotation.

Operating Torque.

Spindle Lenght from the mounting face.
