Purpose of This Notice.
This notice provides interim national policy and guidelines for aviation safety inspectors (ASI) who approve and have oversight responsibility of Aircraft Dispatcher Certification courses, approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in accordance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 65 subpart C. This interim policy is necessary until such time as the national policy is finalized and published in FAA Order 8900.1.
