Organization: NR
Publication Date: 2 September 2017
Status: active
Page Count: 9
scope:

This process applies to all planned engineering works which are planned under the Network Rail standards listed in clause 3. It shall apply to all Network Rail employees and all Network Rail contractors.

The provisions of this process do not apply to unplanned emergency engineering work, the need for which has resulted from an unexpected or previously unknown planned engineering possession or work arrangements during the +T-3 day period.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this module is to provide Network Rail Route Operations Controls with a process to manage late change for planned engineering works as defined in NR/L2/OPS/202 and NR/L3/OPS/303. This process mitigates the risk of abortive works and possession overruns and makes sure any changes to the planned works are managed safely and effectively.
