The standard is applicable to training courses for the qualification of professionals from the fields of architecture, civil engineering, facility management (FM) and the building services (BS) as well as building owners and project managers.

The training courses deal with the assessment of the sustainability of the built environment in connection with certification systems. The contents conveyed refer to the respective certifications of new buildings (with a focus on office and administration buildings). Contents of the system-specific certifications of existing buildings are not considered in this standard.

The knowledge conveyed by the training supports the participants in dealing with the documentation required by the respective building certificate.
