The aim of this NATO standardization agreement (STANAG) is to respond to the following interoperability requirements.
INTEROPERABILITY REQUIREMENTS
To achieve a reasonable level of assurance that munition related software and softwarelike devices will behave within the system context and operational environment with an acceptable level of risk.
