(2) The inspections covered in this manual are those authorized to be performed by personnel of organizational, direct, and general support units and depot maintenance.

(3) The technical manuals applicable to pertinent vehicles should be consulted for specific details relative to the replacement standards of solidrubber tires, track and track components of the suspension system.

Purpose.

This manual is published for the use of personnel responsible for the proper care, use, inspection, storage and issue of solid-rubber tires, track and track components.

NOTE This publication is not to be used as authority for replacement of solid-rubber tires, track or track components on vehicles. Refer to applicable vehicle technical manuals for actual replacement standards and procedures.
