scope:

This instruction applies to NAVAIR Headquarters (NAVAIRHQ), the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Air Anti-submarine Warfare, Assault, and Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)); the PEO for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)); the PEO for Strike Weapons; and Unmanned Aviation (PEO(W)) and the PEO for Joint Strike Fighter (PEO (JSF)) per reference (e). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), and the Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) shall also adhere to the direction in this instruction.

Purpose.

To establish policy and procedures, and assign responsibilities governing the review and approval of data requirements under the Integrated Product Team (IPT) approach directed by the Program Manager, Air (PMA) leadership. The policy and procedures of this instruction are consistent with references (a) through (d).
