scope:
PURPOSE. This instruction establishes the policies and procedures for use of any Coast Guard aircraft in command/support operations originating from Washington DC, and for use of the VC-11A and VC-4A, regardless of mission origin. Command/support operations include transportation and certain members of the Secretary's staff, the Commandant and members of his staff, and such other personnel as may be authorized by the Commandant.
