PURPOSE

The purpose of this Marshall Procedural Requirements (MPR) is to establish the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Confined Space Entry Program in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards. This MPR should not be interpreted as regulating in any manner operations at any National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Center other than MSFC.

APPLICABILITY

This MPR applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at MSFC and MSFC's Michoud Assembly Facility, including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts or agreements. ("Contractors," for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.)
