This Test Method is for the purpose of determining the resistance of organic coatings to diluted sulphuric acid at high temperatures.

Applicability. This Test Method is only applicable for initial sampling and for official arbitration purposes. The Test Method is not recommended for the incoming goods inspection or quality monitoring of paint materials in individual plants.

Note: Nothing in the specification, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.
