The aim of this agreement is to ensure that nations when producing Military Geographic Documentation (MGD) on INLAND NAVIGABLE WATERWAYS for use by NATO Forces, standardize its presentation in accordance with this STANAG. This agreement also gives guidance on associated Military Geographic Information (MGI).
