This grease is to be used on wear surfaces of cab and body mechanisms assembled in the interior of doors and cabs prior to metal preparation and painting operations, or other applications. The lubricant desired under this specification may be a soap or non-soap thickener type, highly inert to acids and alkalis, water resistant and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 230°C (450°F) for short periods of time. It shall not include any silicone compound which would interfere in any manner with the metal preparation and painting operations.

Restricted Chemical Substances

Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.

APPLICATION

This specification covers temperature and wash resistant greases used in the interior of doors and cabs prior to painting.
