AIM
The aim of this Agreement is to define a standard method whereby digital geographic data can be encoded for use and distributed on Compact Disc-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) and Compact Disc-Recordable (CD-R).
A standard CD-ROM format ensures that digital geographic data is recognized, distinguished and can be exchanged among NATO members without confusion. It facilitates interoperability.
