Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Alterungseigenschaften von Schmierstoffen auf Mineralölbasis fest. Das Prüfverfahren ist anwendbar auf Öle, welche einen Verdampfungsverlust von weniger als 15 % Massenanteil haben. Der Verdampfungsverlust ist nach dem in 9.3 festgelegten Prüfverfahren zu bestimmen.
