Form

This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of sheet, strip, and foil 0.1874 inch (4.76 mm) and under in nominal thickness (see 8.6).

Application

These products have been used typically for parts requiring resistance to creep and stress-rupture up to 1400 °F (760 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 °F (982 °C), particularly those parts which are formed or welded and then precipitation heat treated to develop desired properties, but usage is not limited to such applications.
