Organization: | ITU-T |
Publication Date: | 1 November 2018 |
Status: | active |
Page Count: | 48 |
scope:
This Recommendation specifies the general requirements of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and test methods for radio telecommunication and associated ancillary equipment. Radio equipment includes e.g., mobile access network equipment such as base stations, fixed radio links equipment such as microwave relay, fixed-satellite service, radio navigation-satellite
The working frequencies of radio equipment could be from 9 kHz to 400 GHz.
This Recommendation describes the common testing operational conditions and performance criteria.
This Recommendation describes specific testing levels to be applied to radio equipment in various environments. The EMC requirements have been specified to ensure an adequate level of compatibility for equipment intended to be used in the environments mentioned above. The levels, however, do not cover extreme cases which may occur in any location but with low probability of occurrence.
