Purpose.
This volume, including AFMAN 11-2HH-60V3, Checklist 1 (CL-1), in conjunction with aircraft flight manuals, flight information publications (FLIP), and other governing directives prescribes procedures for operating the HH-60. When guidance in this volume conflicts with another basic/source document, the source document takes precedence.
ACC/A3 Personnel Recovery Operations Division (ACC/A3JO) has overall responsibility for administration of this manual and associated checklists.
