Purpose.

This CFETP provides information necessary for the Air Force Career Field Manager (AFCFM), supervisors, and trainers to plan, develop, manage, and conduct an effective and efficient career field training program. The plan outlines the training individuals in this AFS should receive in order to develop and progress throughout their career. For the purposes of this plan, training has been divided into entry level and upgrade training. Initial skills training (35B1) is assessed at the band officer selection board and is mandatory for upgrade to qualified (35B3). Upgrade training identifies the mandatory requirements for the qualified level.
