Standard Test Method for Determination of Low Levels of Antimony in Carbon and Low-Alloy Steel by Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry
|Publication Date:||15 June 2019|
|ICS Code (Physicochemical methods of analysis):||71.040.50|
This test method covers the determination of antimony in carbon and low-alloy steel in the 0.0005 % through 0.010 % range.
If this test method is used to test materials having contents less than 0.001 % antimony, users of different laboratories will experience more than the usual 5 % risk that their results will differ by more than 50 % relative error.
