scope:

This PAS applies to the manufacture of the following firefighting waterway equipment:

(a) Instantaneous fire hose couplings;

(b) Branch pipes;

(c) Nozzles;

(d) Standpipes;

(e) Blank caps;

(f) Hydrant keys and bars;

(g) Breechings;

(h) Landing valves;

(i) Brigade inlets;

(j) Suction hose couplings;

(k) Suction strainers - metal;

(l) Suction strainers - basket;

(m) Equipment suitable for use as required by New Zealand Rural Fire Organisations;

(n) Equipment suitable for ship-to-shore connections; and

(o) Rural screw thread couplings.
