The aim of this agreement is to establish a general guideline for electromagnetic environmental effects (E³) requirements to be followed during E³ system design to ensure safe and effective operation of an aircraft and its installed electrical, electronic and electromechanical equipment during NATO exercises for the life of the aircraft.
