This standard shall specify the test method which determine the strength properties of automotive trim materials (leather cloths, textiles, paper, and board), by measuring, under specified conditions, the pressure necessary to rupture a test piece of the trim material.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this standard is to determine the bursting strength of automotive trim materials (e.g. leather cloths, textiles, paper, board etc).
