The time shall be obtained from the discharge of an capacitor into a coil of a tractive armature relay conforming to specifications of the BR 930 series

The users attention is drawn to the fact that if this relay is used on a rectified a.c. supply, the busbar voltage of this supply could be raised by the smoothing effect of the capacitors used in the relay.

The extent of this effect will depend on the number of relays, to this specification, which are connected on one supply and the magnitude of the load connected to the same supply.
