Scope.
This specification covers the requirements and quality assurance provisions for the manufacture and acceptance of three types of calcined magnesium oxide (see 6.1).
Type I - for use in aerial mines
Type II - for use in M864 propellant
Type III - for use in XM1128 propellant
intended Use:
The magnesium oxide covered in this use is intended for use in aerial mines and in the M864 and XM1128 propellants.
