Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this test method is to determine the electrical surface resistivity of fabrics. The surface electrical resistivity may influence the accumulation of electrostatic charge of a fabric (refer to AATCC TM84, Test Method for Electrical Resistance of Yarns).
