Purpose

This regulation implements Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 3025.14 and assigns Department of the Army responsibilities for evacuation of Department of the Army members, dependents, other U.S. citizens and designated aliens from threatened areas abroad or in anticipation of, or in response to any natural or man-made disaster. It provides guidance, procedures, and directives to Army Staff agencies, units, and organizations in support of evacuations from within the continental United States (CONUS), and outside the continental United States (OCONUS).
