This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel-iron alloy in the form of bars and forgings 5 inches (127 mm) and under, and forging stock of any size (see 8.6).

Application

These products have been used typically for parts, such as turbine rotors, shafts, and blades, requiring high strength up to 1400 °F (760 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1600 °F (871 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
