Purpose of This Notice.
This notice announces the addition of a new section to guidance in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Order 8900.1, Volume 12, International Aviation. The new section adds inspector requirements associated with the issuance of certain Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 91 Letters of Authorization (LOA) to General Aviation (GA) airmen/operators operating U.S-registered aircraft based solely outside the United States.
