scope:

Includes: 25 kV A.C. RATS (Rationalised Auto-transformer System) automation and IPC (Integrated Protection and Control) equipment, installed at

Wales and Western ATFS, MPATS, SATS and ATS substation sites and Track Sectioning Switch Control Cubicles (TSSCCs) between

Maidenhead MPATS and Canton ATFS.

NOTE: Table 1 lists the different protection IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) and other equipment which are used in the IPC system.

Excludes: Maidenhead busbars 1 & 2, and substation / TSS sites east of Maidenhead (as these use a different architecture).
