PURPOSE.

This Manual establishes policy and prescribes procedures for administering the Military Personnel Data Records (PDR) System, applicable to active duty and reserve forces, officers and enlisted personnel. Specific guidance for processing changes to documentation contained in the PDR system is published in the Personnel and Pay Procedures Manual, PPCINST M1000.2 (series).
