scope:
Provides policy guidance and procedures for the SSBO process when a weapons system or equipment is approaching the final stages of production and final procurements are planned.
Purpose.
To establish policies and procedures for ensuring provisions in reference (a) on System Support Buy Out (SSBO) are adhered to throughout the Sea Services Foreign Military Sales (FMS) enterprise, including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
