Purpose
This pamphlet provides instructions for submitting and processing packets for remission or cancellation of indebtedness to the U.S. Army. Requests for remission or cancellation of indebtedness must be based on injustice, hardship, or both. This includes debts caused by erroneous payments to, or on behalf of, a Soldier if a waiver has been requested and denied in accordance with AR 37-104-4 and DOD 7000.14-R, Volume 16, Chapter 4.
