This specification applies to any organisation involved in the supply of solar charge controller. It applies to any organisation that proposes to supply Network Rail with solar charge controller for use in Off-Grid Power Supply Systems that will be treated as a controlled product requiring product acceptance in line with NR/L2/RSE/100/05.
Purpose
This specification sets out the technical requirements of a solar charge controller for use in Off-Grid Power Supply Systems, in line with current Network Rail standards and procedures to confirm a product offered is the best solution for Network Rail.
