Purpose

This regulation implements North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 3474. It stipulates the minimum self-imposed temporary restrictions to be placed upon aircrew following exposure to certain physiological conditions in order to ensure optimal physiologic and psychological fitness in aircrew.
