This module specifies Network Rail's requirements that are applicable to the design of station, footpath, bridleway and user-worked level crossings.
The requirements in this module apply in addition to general requirements specified in NR/L2/XNG/30020/R01.
Other modules specify the requirements that are specific to different types, or particular configurations, of level crossing equipment.
This module applies to new level crossings and to existing level crossings where reasonable opportunity to comply with this module is identified.
