These standards cover the sanitary aspects of silo-type storage tanks for milk and milk products used at dairy processing plants. These standards are not intended to cover silo-type tanks used on dairy farms.
In order to conform to these 3-A Sanitary Standards, silo-type storage tanks shall conform to the following design, material, fabrication and refrigeration criteria.
