This specification applies to individuals who are introducing or amending interlocking systems for Network Rail managed infrastructure, where EULYNX interfaces are required. 

This document contains the Network Rail application requirements for the following EULYNX systems and interface:

• Electronic Interlocking System / Adjacent Interlocking System

• Interlocking System to Adjacent Interlocking System Standard Control Interface (SCI-ILS) [Eu.Doc.41] [Eu.Doc.42]

Requirements in NR/L2/SIG/19820/L01 are applicable in addition to the above. 

Figure 1 provides an overview of the Sub-Systems and Standard Communication Interfaces defined for EULUNX. The relevant sub-system and interfaces to this document are shown in red.

Purpose 

This specification sets out the specific technical requirements for the application of the EULYNX Adjacent Interlocking System (ILS) interface. 

It is intended that this document is read in conjunction with NR/L2/SIG/19820/L01 and all applicable subsystem and interface documentation published by EULYNX Consortium.
