Scope and Applicability.
This notice applies to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and all U.S. Navy commands and activities responsible for projecting ship battle force inventory levels for the future and for supporting requirements associated with the planning, programming, budgeting and execution process in the development of the program objective memorandum that supports the annual submission of the President's Budget and the long-range plan for the construction of naval vessels.
Purpose.
To update and approve ship estimated construction times and expected service life for Navy battle force ships.
