This standard applies to LU, their suppliers/contractor
This standard applies to all mechanical installations on LU operational premises as follows:
a) Heating
b) Ventilation
c) Cooling
d) Hot and Cold Water
e) Rainwater Harvesting
f) Legacy Gas, Oil and Solid Fuel
g) Control Panels.
Note: This standard does not apply to:
Tunnel and public area cooling and ventilation systems, which are covered by LU standard S1067.
Building Management Systems, which are covered under LU standard S1071.
Purpose
The purpose of this standard is to define the mechanical requirements within London Underground (LU) operational property for all mechanical building services systems serving non-public areas only, the provision of water utility connections and building services energy management.
