Purpose
This regulation establishes policy and procedure for the selection, training, management, assignment, and reassign-ment of Regular Army (RA), U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), and USAR Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Soldiers assigned or attached in specified positions as recruiting cadre, including all Soldiers performing a direct recruiting function that supports the accomplishment of the recruiting mission. These include Soldiers holding the primary military occupa-tional specialty (PMOS) 79R, Department of the Army (DA)-select recruiters, recruiting officers, and recruiting war-rant officers at the company level and below.
