This standard applies to all works, as defined in the following discipline standards:
• Buildings and Civils as defined in NR/L2/CIV/003
• Signalling as defined in NR/L2/SIG/30014
• Electrification and Plant as defined in NR/L2/ELP/27314
• Track as defined in NR/L2/TRK/2500
• Telecommunications as defined in NR/L2/TEL/30098
It does not apply if following any other methods prescribed in these standards for installation quality and specification compliance of new works.
It is not intended for this standard to be followed for work being carried out as part of an immediate response to an incident and which restores the fitness for purposes of railway operations / infrastructure.
